Established in June 1942, Bankers Digest is an independent weekly magazine devoted to Southwest Bank news.

Its purpose is to report timely and comprehensive news of banks and bankers of particular interest in the states of Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Edited for bank executives, articles report on officer and director changes, new banks and branches, charter and branch applications, bank association meetings, and related financial industry news.

Special features include Legal Phases of Banking, Charter Updates, concise articles of current interest written by experts in each field, and an extensive Classified section.
