Lane and Jamison Promoted in North Texas at Oklahoma-based First United Bank

July 12, 2022

Durant, Oklahoma-based First United Bank recently announced two executive promotions in North Texas.

Ted LaneTed Lane has been promoted to director of treasury management services. A certified treasury professional, Lane joined First United in 2021 with more than 28 years of financial experience specializing in business development, commercial banking and merchant services. He has played a key role in the start-up of the bank’s Plano market. Lane will office out of First United Bank’s McKinney branch.

Dedicated to community engagement, Lane has been involved in many professional and civic organizations, most recently including the Highrise MasterMind Group and Career Path Services.

“Ted’s passion and extensive knowledge of treasury management services are ideal for continuing the build-out of our platform and team to best serve our customers,” says Wes Shelton, regional market president.

Chris JamisonIn addition, Chris Jamison, former senior vice president of commercial lending, has been promoted to community bank president/Frisco–Preston Road. He joined First United Bank in 2018 with more than 25 years of commercial banking experience, 17 of which have been in Frisco. He played a significant role on the bank’s commercial lending team helping businesses grow into successful ventures.

“With his love for the Frisco community and our people, I am proud to see him stepping into the role of Frisco president and look forward to seeing him build a robust team and market,” says Ryan Suchala, Dallas/Fort Worth regional market president.

Dedicated to community engagement, Jamison is involved in many of Frisco’s professional and civic organizations. He currently serves as Dallas Roundtable president and philanthropy committee chair and as a finance committee member on the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and the Frisco Rotary Club. He is a graduate of Leadership Frisco.

“Being the president of First United Bank in Frisco is the biggest honor of my career,” Jamison says. “Not only do I live and work in the best city in Texas, but I am blessed to work for a bank that puts community, love and impact at the forefront of its business goals.”

Established in 1900, First United has more than 85 bank, mortgage and insurance locations throughout Oklahoma and Texas.
