PlainsCapital Bank Taps Erts for Wealth Administration, Diaz for Commercial Lending

April 12, 2023

Dallas-based PlainsCapital Bank recently announced that two bankers have joined the organization—one in private banking, the other in commercial lending.

Jannette ErtsJannette Erts, CFP, has joined The Private Bank at PlainsCapital as senior vice president/senior wealth administrator. She will manage Texas probate estates and trusts for which the grantor is deceased. She will office at PlainsCapital Bank’s Fort Worth location on Camp Bowie.

Erts has more than 23 years of investment banking experience. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas–Arlington and her MBA degree, with a concentration in financial services, from the University of Dallas. Erts is a certified financial planner and graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute and the Texas Bankers Association Graduate Trust School.

Tony DiazTony Diaz has joined PlainsCapital Bank’s Victory Park lending group as assistant vice president/commercial loan officer at the bank’s branch at 2323 Victory Ave in Dallas. He has more than five years of financial services experience. He previously served as a relationship manager at Texas Security Bank. Diaz received his bachelor’s degree from Maryville College and his MBA degree from Mississippi State University.

“We are committed to building an experienced lending group at One Victory Park, and Tony’s professional expertise makes him an excellent fit for our growing team,” says Joe Pitch, executive vice president of commercial lending. Pitch recently relocated to Victory Park from the bank’s Hilltop Plaza location and is in the process of building a new lending team.

Established in 1955, PlainsCapital Bank, the sixth-largest Texas-headquartered bank by deposit market share, operates 59 Texas branches. Its major markets include Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio.
