Miller Promoted to President of Commercial and Corporate Banking at FirstBank Southwest

August 11, 2022

Will MillerAmarillo-based FirstBank Southwest recently announced the promotion of Will Miller to president of commercial and corporate banking. He has worked for FirstBank Southwest for 27 years and has served as the Amarillo market president and chief lending officer for the past eight years. In his new position, he will supervise the market presidents in each of the bank’s markets in the Texas Panhandle, Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Austin and San Antonio metro markets.

Miller earned his BBA in finance from West Texas A&M University. Active in his community, he serves as board president of the Golden Spread Council for Boy Scouts of America, board member of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas, treasurer of the Downtown Women’s Center, secretary of the Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation and past president of the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum.

Established in 1996, FirstBank & Trust, a subsidiary of Heartland Financial USA Inc., operates 20 locations serving 15 communities in West Texas and the Panhandle.
