Texas Bank and Trust Co. Promotes Chavez, Foster and Knickerbocker

June 8, 2022

On March 22, Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust Co. announced three promotions.

Dawn Chavez has been promoted to senior vice president/treasury services manager. She has worked in the financial services industry for 22 years and has been with Texas Bank and Trust since 2016. She is responsible for the implementation of treasury management marketing strategies and sales objectives for the bank. Chavez has lived in North Texas for 16 years and is involved in Women in Leadership for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, as well as other organizations in the Plano community.

Rebekah Foster has been promoted to senior vice president/regional retail manager, central region. She began her career in the bank’s Canton branch, formerly First National Bank, in 2001. She has held positions in various areas of the bank, most recently as regional retail manager for the Texas Bank and Trust central region, which includes Canton, Van, Lindale and Hideaway. Foster currently serves as secretary for the Canton Rotary Club.

Katie Knickerbocker has joined the bank’s Frisco team as vice president/retail relationship manager. She most recently served as the area operations manager for the bank’s branches in Frisco, Richardson, Fort Worth, Flower Mound and McKinney. She holds a BS degree in business management from Western Governor’s University. Knickerbocker is a member of the Frisco Young Professionals organization and is a volunteer for Frisco Family Services, Frisco ISD and Grace Bridge.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 21 branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
